Postponed AIB Cup Games Refixed For Next Weekend

The AIB Cup quarter-final encounter between Cork Constitution and Queen’s University, which was postponed last weekend due to a waterlogged pitch, will take place at Temple Hill next Saturday afternoon (kick-off 12.30pm).

The IRFU have confirmed the refixture details for the two AIB Cup quarter-finals that had to be postponed last Saturday due to the adverse weather conditions in the Cork area. Both games will take place next weekend.

The winners of the Cork Constitution v Queen’s University and Dolphin v Galwegians ties will progress to the semi-finals, with the draw for the last-four games made yesterday by Ireland defence coach Les Kiss live on 2FM’s Sportsbag programme.

The semi-finals are down for decision on Saturday, December 19. This season’s AIB Cup final will take place at Dubarry Park in Athlone on Saturday, January 30 (kick-off 3.05pm).
