Exiles Win First Ireland ‘A’ Caps

Demonstrating the importance of the Irish Exiles to the delvelopment of Irish-qualified players, two products of the Exiles system earned their first Ireland ‘A’ caps at Ravenhill last Friday. Andy Kyriacou and Dan Tuohy, both members of the current Ulster squad, featured for Ireland ‘A’ as they ran out 48-19 winners over Tonga.

Andy Kyriacou was first involved in the Exiles’ set-up when he attended their first ever screening camp back in 1998. He was at Saracens before joining Ulster.

Dan Tuohy, a member of the Gloucester Academy, played for Ireland at Under-21 level and last year was with the Exeter Chiefs in Division One, before joining Ulster.
