Athboy RFC To Hold Open Day

Next Sunday (September 27), Athboy RFC will be hosting its inaugural Open Day and the club hope to get a sizable crowd down to the pitch to enjoy rugby for the afternoon and see what local rugby has to offer.

The events start at the County Meath club at 1pm, with a VIP visitor in the form of the Heineken Cup trophy which will be available for photographs

There will also be a BBQ, bouncy castles and a kicking competition with a live match kicking off at 3pm. It will be a must for all the family.

Anyone interested in joining the club, young and old, should note the following: 

Men’s Senior training takes place every Tuesday and Friday at 8pm sharp. All new members are welcome.

Under-13, Under-15 and Under-17 training takes place every Tuesday evening at 6.30pm.

Mini Rugby (for Under-8, Under-10 and Under-12) is on each Sunday at 11am.
