Hines Hit With One Week Suspension

Following the match between the British & Irish Lions and the Emerging Springboks in Cape Town on Tuesday evening, Lions forward Nathan Hines was cited for an alleged dangerous tackle on an opposite player.

Today, Judicial Officer Alan Hudson upheld that citing after a hearing at the offices of the Western Province Rugby Union in Cape Town.

The Judicial Officer handed down a sanction of one week to Nathan Hines.

Hines now has 24 hours in which to consider an appeal.
