Slamming Time At Old Belvedere

Bud Light Tag is a non-contact sport but there was plenty of ‘SLAMMING’ going on in Old Belvedere last week as the Grand Slam Trophy Tour stopped off for a visit.

The Grand Slam Trophy Tour has been taking in clubs and schools in Connacht and Munster in recent weeks but last Wednesday and Thursday night the tour moved to Old Belvedere where it was the turn of hundreds of guys and gals who make up the teams at Bud Light Tag.

Bud Light Tag rugby is the fastest growing team sport for men and women and as the official IRFU Tag rugby, many of the venues around the country will be getting a visit on the Grand Slam Trophy Tour.

There was all the usual action on the pitch but the RBS 6 Nations trophy and Triple Crown proved to be a real crowd pleaser for everybody present.

The Grand Slam Trophy Tour will take in a number of Bud Light Tag venues over the summer so taggers watch out and have your camera at the ready.

Bud Light Beach Tag will also see visits from the trophies to some of the venues so pack you best swimsuit boys and girls!
