Kick-Off Times Confirmed For GUINNESS Series 2009 Matches

The Irish Rugby Football Union have confirmed the kick-off times and venues for Ireland’s three GUINNESS Series games in November against Australia, Fiji and current World champions South Africa.

Ireland will open their international season against Australia who will be making their one and only appearance at Croke Park and it will be the first visit to Ireland since 2006.

The game against the Wallabies will be quickly followed by the visit of their Pacific neighbours Fiji to the RDS in Dublin.

The Fiji Test match will be the first full international to be played at the south Dublin city venue.

The RDS will be the fourth Dublin venue to ever to hold a senior international game after the Leinster Cricket Ground in Rathmines, Lansdowne Road and Croke Park.

The third and final fixture in the GUINNESS Series 2009 moves the actionback to Croke Park for another first with the current World champions South Africa coming to town on the last Saturday in November.

Ticket prices and packages for all of the GUINNESS Series games will be announced in the coming weeks.

GUINNESS SERIES 2009 MATCH DETAILS: 

Sunday, November 15 – IRELAND v AUSTRALIA, Croke Park, kick-off 3pm

Saturday, November 21 – IRELAND v FIJI, Royal Dublin Society, kick-off 5.15pm

Saturday, November 28 – IRELAND v SOUTH AFRICA, Croke Park, kick-off 2.30pm
