Leinster Appeal Sexton’s Suspension

The Irish Rugby Football Union Disciplinary Appeals Panel will hold a hearing to consider Leinster player Jonathan Sexton’s appeal against his two-week suspension for being found guilty of kicking Munster player Lifeimi Mafi during the Munster v Leinster Magners League game last Saturday.

Jonathan Sexton was found guilty under law 10.4 (c) and was suspended from Wednesday, April 8 up to and including Wednesday, April 22.

The hearing will take place in the Irish Rugby Football Union’s offices at 4pm on Friday (April 10).

The IRFU Panel will consist of Billy Glynn (Chairman), Leo Galvin and Barry O’Brien.

The findings of the Disciplinary Appeals Panel will be released following the completion of the hearing.
