The Ulster Rugby Supporters Club (URSC) Player of the Month Award for January, sponsored by Crystal Clear, has been presented to Ulster’s Grand Slam-winning back rower Stephen Ferris.
Stephen Ferris was given the award for his barnstorming displays in Ulster’s memorable January wins over Harlequins at Ravenhill and Munster at Thomond Park.
The Ireland international received his trophy recently from Ulster Rugby Supporters Club Secretary David Halleren and was delighted to be nominated for the gong.
“I’m thrilled. We had a couple of great wins in January and to be recognised as a key contributor in those games is great,” Ferris said.
Ulster are back in Magners League action next week but the build-up is already on for their final home match of the season against the Cardiff Blues on Friday week (April 24, kick-off 7.30pm). Tickets for that Ravenhill encounter are available here.
