Audio Interviews: David Wallace, Jamie Heaslip And Tomas O’Leary

IrishRugby.ie caught up with back rowers David Wallace and Jamie Heaslip and scrum half Tomas O’Leary in the aftermath of Saturday’s game to get their thoughts on how it went and what lies ahead against Scotland.

“Anytime you beat England it’s huge. We were under no illusions as to how tough it was going to be – every yard was really hard fought and we’re delighted to get the win at the end of the day.” Ireland flanker David Wallace gives his opinion on the 14-13 RBS 6 Nations win over England at Croke Park.

Speaking after the victory over England at Croke Park, Jamie Heaslip reflected on a bruising battle with Martin Johnson’s side. The number 8 is looking forward to ‘a few days off and getting the plan together for Scotland.’

Ireland scrum half Tomas O’Leary reviews the win over England, talking about the physicality of the game and his input in the victory. “It’s a great start, three from three but all that can go to waste if we don’t prepare for Scotland and get a win over there,” he said.
