Women’s Match Moved To Ashbourne

The RBS Women’s 6 Nations Championship encounter between Ireland and France, scheduled for Friday evening (kick-off 7.30pm) at St. Mary’s College RFC grounds at Templeville Road, has been moved to another venue due to an unplayable pitch.

The game between the Irish and French Women’s sides will now take place on Friday at Ashbourne RFC with the same kick-off time (7.30pm).

Information on the location of the County Meath club’s grounds can be found by clicking here.

In addition the Ireland Colleges game against the French Students has been switched from Suttonians RFC to Balbriggan RFC with an earlier kick off time of 6 p.m.

The venues for both the Ireland ‘A’ v England Saxons game (Donnybrook) and the Ireland Under-20 v France Under-20 tie (Dubarry Park, Athlone) will both undergo pitch inspections on Friday morning at 10.00am to confirm their availability.

However, the IRFU are confident that they will both remain open.
