Ireland To Have RDS Date

The RDS is set to play host to one of Ireland’s GUINNESS Series Test matches next November when Fiji visit the home of Leinster Rugby.

The Ireland v Fiji encounter has been pencilled in for November 21 or 22 at the RDS, with the fixture planners sandwiching it in between Ireland’s Croke Park clashes with South Africa (November 14 or 15) and Australia (November 28 or 29).

Speaking at a press conference in Limerick, Ireland team manager Paul McNaughton confirmed that the squad will undergo a summer tour encompassing Tests against Canada (May 23) and the US Eagles (May 30).

He also said that Ireland’s November schedule could include a fourth international against South Africa with Hong Kong probably the venue but ‘that has not been finalised yet.’ If that game goes ahead, it would be played on November 7 or 8.
