Date Set For Jennings Appeal

The Irish Rugby Football Union disciplinary panel will hold an appeal hearing on Thursday, January 15 at 6.30pm, to hear the case of suspended Leinster flanker Shane Jennings.

Shane Jennings received a three-week suspension, which will end on midnight, Tuesday, January 27, for striking Connacht second row Andrew Farley during the second half of the Leinster v Connacht Magners League game.

The three-man IRFU Appeal Committee will be chaired by Pat Barriscale, who will be assisted by Harry McKibbin and Robin Cole.

The findings of the Disciplinary Panel will be released following the completion of the hearing.
