Magners League: Round 10 Preview

The Magners League continues into the New Year with Liberty Stadium playing host to a much-anticipated first-versus-second showdown between the Ospreys and Munster.

Successive defeats have seen European champions Munster relinquish a six-point lead at the top of the Magners League and the Ospreys, with history on their side, will be determined to widen the gap at the summit.

Friday also sees a further three Magners League games taking place.

A buoyant Connacht welcome the Scarlets to the Sportsground, the scene of their historic recent victory over Munster.

Edinburgh will be hoping to stop Ulster claiming a ‘season’s double’ over them when the two teams play at Murrayfield.

Meanwhile, Glasgow Warriors will be looking to stop the Newport Gwent Dragons run of away victories over them as the Warriors continue to push to be the top-placed Scottish side.

Round 10 wraps up on Saturday when Leinster welcome the Cardiff Blues to the RDS. The defending league champions will be hoping to continue the form that has seen them lose only once at the ground since October 2007.
