Bradley: We Need To ‘Close Out’ Games

Connacht coach Michael Bradley said it was a big disappointment to come away from the RDS with no points from their Magners League derby clash with Leinster.

Bradley said there were lessons to be learned from the encounter as Leinster bounced back with a brace of late tries to claim a 26-18 win over the westerners.

“We should have got something out of the game and that was disappointing,” said the Connacht supremo.

“It looked as if we had done enough to win the game but just did not complete the job.

“We need to learn how to close out games. It is not easily done but there was a great chance on Friday night to do that and we did not take it.

“It was a solid display and it deserved better but we need to move on from that and make sure we get a result against the Scarlets next Friday.”
