Munster Injury Update

Munster have had mixed news on the injury front following their defeat to Ulster in Thomond Park at the weekend.

Rua Tipoki who suffered a hamstring injury in the Magners League game against Ulster yesterday will be out of action for the next four weeks which means he will miss his side’s final Pool games in the Heineken Cup.

Ronan O’Gara also suffered a hamstring inury but it’s not as serious as first thought although he remains a doubt for the trip to Wales.

Flanker James Coughlan damaged a shoulder after coming on as a replacement in the seond half and he is also ruled out for four weeks.

Munster expect to have Paul O’Connell, Denis Leamy and Tomas O’Leary all in contention for a place in the squad for the Ospreys game.
