Irish Rugby TV: Ireland v New Zealand

The second game of the GUINNESS Series 2008 sees New Zealand at Croke Park. Irish Rugby TV was on hand at Tuesday’s announcement of the Ireland team to get the thoughts of Declan Kidney, Brian O’Driscoll, new scrum half Tomas O’Leary and returning flanker Alan Quinlan.

One of the most eagerly-awaited Irish team announcements was made Tuesday as Declan Kidney’s side prepare to play New Zealand at Croke Park in the second game of the GUINNESS Series 2008.

Irish Rugby TV was at the press conference for the announcement.

You can view the team announcement from Declan Kidney. The Ireland coach was joined at the top table by Tomas O’Leary, who will start his first game for Ireland at scrum half.

Brian O’Driscoll will captain Ireland for the 50th time on Saturday – watch his interview and hear his thoughts on the game.

Alan Quinlan is a legend to many Irish rugby fans and he will also start for Ireland at number 6 on Saturday. Jim Sherwin spoke to the Tipperary man ahead of the game.
