In Pics: Supporters Club ‘Meet The Coaches’

It was a wet and windy evening in leafy Ballsbridge but that did not deter hundreds of Irish Rugby Supporters Club members turning out to meet Declan Kidney and members of the Irish coaching staff for an evening of chat and informal fun.

In the build-up to the opening stages of the Heineken Cup and as he prepares to name the Ireland squad for the forthcoming Guinness Series, Declan Kidney, together with Ireland team manager Paul McNaughton and forwards coach Gert Smal, took time out to meet the members of the Supporters Club for an informal evening of chat.

This was the first major event of the 2008/09 season for the club and it kicked things off very nicely indeed.

The Supporters Club is also planning a number of other events and competitions this season including a Matchday Event at Croke Park for the Ireland v Argentina game in the Guinness Series.

Junior Supporters Club members will also have a chance to win a place as an Ireland mascot as the team take on the All Blacks.

We are also planning another charter trip to see Ireland take on Wales in the 2009 RBS 6 Nations championship and a number of other events throughout the season and when you sign up you get the exclusive Supporters Club PACK.
