ELV Seminars Continue

The IRFU programme of ELV seminars for key club coaching personnel around the provinces continues in Old Belvedere.

From the 1st August 2008, the IRB will be implementing a 12 month global trial of 13 Experimental Law Variations (ELVs).  All ELV’s will be implemented by the IRFU in Professional and all Domestic competition.

The IRFU is conducting a series of branch seminars aimed at Club Coaching co-ordinators in all four provinces. To date there have been sessions in Highfield RFC, Young Munster RFC and Corinthians RFC. The Leinster seminar will take place in Old Belvedere tonight and the Ulster seminar in the Kings Hall next Monday.

Branch Development Officers will also undergo training during July, to ensure that they can provide expertise to club and school staff at the beginning of the season.  Referees will undergo training through their Branch Association courses.
