Today marks the launch of Ulster Rugby’s Charity Call to Action campaign. In addition to their continued support of the IRFU Charitable Trust, set up to assist seriously injured rugby players in their daily lives, Ulster Rugby also supports three associated charities each season.
Each of the associated charities will receive – an Ulster Rugby jersey signed by the team, 10 complimentary tickets for an Ulster Rugby home Magners League match of their choice, match programme editorial space to promote their cause, an Ulster Rugby website link to their homepage and a player appearance.
The Ulster Rugby squad will be responsible for choosing the three associated charities and ‘standing up’ for the charitable causes throughout the 2008/09 season. Closing date for entries is Friday, August 8.
