Newforge Hosting Finals This Week

As Newforge prepares to host its Budweiser Tag Finals for 2008, a word from Claire and Gareth, the venue managers

The final week has arrived. All teams will have a game regardless of previous weeks.

Last week the venue had a visit from the Newforge Taggers. These are a group of people with both physical and learning disabilities that meet on a Sunday morning and play Tag Rugby.

Without donations this group could not continue. We would ask that players and spectators make a donation to this very worthwhile cause. For every £2 that is donated you will receive a ballot ticket, the ballot will take place during the presentation of awards following the games.

Best of luck to all involved, whatever you’re playing for. We’re looking forward to these two nights of tag at our beautiful venue and also looking forward to celebrating another great year of Tag with a pint, a bite and bit of music with you all after the Trophy presentations.
