Athy RFC Seek Head Coach

Athy RFC, currently playing in Division 3 of the Leinster League, are seeking applications for the position of head coach.

Athy RFC are determined to progress up the ranks of junior rugby and are looking for an ambitious coach to help achieve that aim. 

The 1st XV missed out on promotion last year on the last day of the season while the 2nd XV won both their league and the Provincial Towns Plate.

Duties:

– Responsible for the planning and preparation of all first team training 
– Player development, team cohesion and team building
– Lead the selection process of 1st and 2nd team
– Assess and provide feedback on individual player and team performances

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a coach or as a senior/elite player.
