Leinster Support St. Vincent’s Day Care

Leinster Rugby have been lending their support to St Vincent’s Day Care Centre on Navan Road, Dublin 7, who are participating in a Tag rugby tournament for children and young adults with learning difficulties.

Hosted by the Newforge Taggers at Newforge Country Club in Belfast, the tournament takes place this Friday (June 6). The tournament, now in its second year, was first held in Worcester last year.

Nineteen teams will be participating, including five from England and one from Wales. St. Vincent’s are the only side participating from the south of Ireland.

Leinster Rugby were delighted to organise a training day with their Community Rugby Development Officers Stuart Abbott and David Williams and the St. Vincent’s team and their coaches.

On the day, the Leinster contingent were pleased to bring along the Magners League trophy and arrange a photocall with the cup. Leinster Rugby would like to wish St. Vincent’s the best of luck in the tournament.
