Ireland captain Brian O’Driscoll has confirmed his availability to the Ireland team management for the summer tour to New Zealand and Australia and will be travelling to the Southern Hemisphere to lead the team.
O’Driscoll, who pulled out of the Barbarians last Tuesday due to a bereavement, will travel over the next 48 hours after the Ireland squad’s departure from London this evening.
The Leinster centre will join up with the rest of the squad in Wellington ahead of the tour’s opening game against New Zealand on Saturday week (June 7).
