Magners League Audio: Brian O’Driscoll And Michael Cheika

Leinster secured the first piece of silverware of Michael Cheika’s reign on Saturday night when they powered their way to a 41-8 home win over the Newport Gwent Dragons, with Brian O’Driscoll presented with the Magners League trophy afterwards.

IrishRugby.ie got the thoughts of Leinster captain Brian O’Driscoll after his side’s Magners League title-clinching victory over the Dragons at the RDS. O’Driscoll talks about the province’s first league success since 2001, the six-try win over the Dragons, the influence of Keith Gleeson and Ollie Le Roux and Leinster’s consistent form this season.

Speaking after Leinster’s defeat of the Dragons, head coach Michael Cheika talked to IrishRugby.ie about his side’s six-try success, being able to lift the league title at home, the impact of Ollie Le Roux and Keith Gleeson at Leinster, the province’s overall season and ‘being hungry to be better’ next year.
