Powerade Extend Sponsorship Deal With Connacht

Powerade have extended their sponsorship of the Connacht Rugby team for a further three years, beginning with the 2008/2009 season.

This sponsorship of Connacht Rugby will now be taken into its eleventh year with this extension, something the province’s Commercial Manager Fiona Keys sees as of great benefit to rugby in Connacht – at all levels.

“I am delighted that Powerade have agreed to sponsor Connacht Rugby for a further three years. Being affiliated with a brand such as Powerade has allowed us greater awareness,” she said.

“Powerade has leveraged the sponsorship well with all aspects of the game in Connacht, from supporting grassroots competitions, including schools, right through to the professional team. We have enjoyed a very healthy relationship with Powerade and look forward to the next three years.”
