Wilkinson Claims Connacht Player Of The Month Award

Connacht prop Brett Wilkinson has been named the Connacht Aer Arann Player of the Month for February, after putting in two impressive displays against the Ospreys and Leinster.

Aer Arann Marketing Manager Annette McGarry presented the 24-year-old Wilkinson with his award at the Sportsground recently, which consisted of two return flights to any of Aer Arann’s destinations.

Wilkinson, who is now in his second season with Connacht, has played in all of Connacht’s matches so far this season and is considered to be one of the province’s most consistent performers.

During February, the South African-born prop played in every minute of Connacht’s matches against the Ospreys and Leinster, despite injuring his calf early on at the Liberty Stadium.
