AIB Cup: Semi Final Draws

The draw for the semi finals of the AIB Cup and AIB Junior Cup took place in Dublin on Thursday.

The draw for the semi finals of the AIB Cup and AIB Junior Cup took place in Dublin today. The draw was made by Maurice Crowley, General Manager AIB and Der Healy, President of the IRFU. With three quarter finals still up for decision on the weekend of the 23rd and 24th of February there is still an either or scenario for the semi finals.

The draw may have taken place on St. Valentine’s Day but there will be no love lost when Dublin rivals Blackrock host Clontarf in the first of the AIB Cup Semi Finals. ‘Rock have already accounted for Cork Con, Instonians and UCD and have been drawn at home again.

The other semi final sees the two outstanding quarter finals pitted against each other so we have Galwegians or Malone at home to St. Mary’s College or Shannon.

The semil final ties are to be played on the weekend of the 8th and 9th of March with the final on April 12th.

In the AIB Junior Cup Tullamore have been drawn at home to Clonmel while Navan have to wait a little longer to see whether they will be travelling to either Sligo or Crosshaven for their semi final.

AIB Cup Draw

Galwegians or Malone V  St. Mary’s College or Shannon

AIB Junior Cup Draw
