Help Shape the Future Of Irish Coaching

The National Coaching and Training Centre (NCTC), in partnership with the Irish Sports Council (ISC) and Sport Northern Ireland (Sport NI), have commissioned Atlantic Sports Management and Training (ASMT) to facilitate the development of a National Coaching Strategy.

The Irish Rugby Football Union encourages all coaches to take part in this survey.

This includes developing both a National Coaching Strategy and a Strategic Plan for NCTC/Coaching Ireland.

A Strategic Advisory Committee was put in place in September 2007. To date ASMT have held a number of consultation meetings with various stakeholders and are currently collating all feedback to develop draft proposals, a vision policy and governance recommendations.

As part of our consultation process, we are trying to get feedback from as many stakeholders as possible to achieve this we have developed an online questionnaire for coaches and player/athletes – www.nctc.ul.ie/coaching_strategy.htm

This is your opportunity to shape the future of Irish coaching. The questionnaire will take approximately 10 minutes to complete. To complete the questionnaire click on the following link: Coaches Coaching Survey. Athletes Player/Athlete Survey

If you do not wish to participate in the questionnaire we would welcome all submissions in any format by contacting the National Coaching and Training Centre, University of Limerick, Ireland, Telephone: 061 202895, Fax: 061 202868, Website: http://www.nctc.ul.ie/  Email:  nctc@ul.ie
