No miracles needed just sheer Munster might and magic as Ronan O’Gara captains his side to yet another European quarter final.
It was a match made in heaven with weather from hell as the Munster faithful flocked to Thomond. The reigning champions came calling in a “do or die” game.
There was no last minute, last gasp heart stopping score required as Munster proved yet again that they have the game for the big occassion and the ability to play and win in any conditions.
Captain, Ronan O’Gara produced a masterclass in kicking and also opened up the Wasps defence for Denis Leamy to score the try that put the game beyond doubt, but it was yet again a team effort by the mighty Munster men that earned them yet another glorious Heineken Cup win.
