Mostyn Back For Connacht

Connacht have made five changes as well as one positional switch to their starting line up ahead of Friday’s Magners League clash with the Llanelli Scarlets at the Sportsground (kick off 6.30pm).

Former Ireland international winger Matt Mostyn is set to start his first game for Connacht since November 2006 as he is named on the right wing and Mel Deane has overcome his arm injury sustained against Newcastle Falcons last month to take his place at inside centre. Aidan Wynne, who started the game against Munster at 12 moves to the left wing, in place of the injured Ofisa Treviranus.

In the forward pack, Captain Andrew Farley starts once again in the second row while Colm Rigney is named at number eight in place of the injured John Muldoon.

Michael Swift has been included amongst the replacements. It was feared he would be out for the next two to three weeks with a knee ligament injury, but the injury is not as serious as first thought.
