Reddan To Skipper Wasps This Weekend

Eoin Reddan’s star continues to rise. The Ireland scrum half has been named as captain of the London Wasps team for their Sunday clash with London Irish in the Guinness Premiership.

Reddan, who made two starts for Ireland during the 2007 World Cup against France and Argentina, will skipper the reigning European champions in their Guinness Premiership clash with London Irish this weekend.

Wasps’ Director of Rugby Ian McGeechan said: “At scrum half, Eoin is in a good position to captain the side. He is on top of his game at the moment and knows the priorities required of the team on Sunday.”

His side are currently tenth in the league, two places behind London Irish, who are captained by Reddan’s fellow Irishman Bob Casey. Casey will be making his 100th Premiership start for London Irish on Sunday.
