Simon Best Admitted To Hospital

Ireland prop Simon Best has been admitted to hospital in Bordeaux for tests following complaints of feeling unwell and a loss of feeling down his right side tonight.

Best, who was named in the Ireland squad to play Argentina this weekend, was immediately transferred to hospital, accompanied by the Ireland team doctor Gary O’Driscoll, where further tests are currently being carried out to determine the cause of these symptoms.

When further news is available, it will be communicated as soon as possible.
