Charity Question Of Sport

First it was ‘Popey’ singing his heart out, now we want to test your knowledge of sport as the IRFU Charitable Trust hosts a Charity Question of Sport on the eve of the Rugby World Cup.

Charity Question of Sport will be a celebration on the eve of the Rugby World Cup. The IRFU Charitable Trust is inviting you to enter a team for the fundraising night on Thursday, September 6 at the Burlington Hotel in Dublin.

A superb evening of sporting fun will be held with a quiz, raffle, spot prizes and auction, as well as great prizes for the top three teams. The Charitable Trust raises funds for seriously injured rugby players and this will be a great night to help and an opportunity to meet some greats of Irish rugby.

Already confirmed to attend are former Ireland internationals Jack Kyle, Mike Gibson, Tom Kiernan, Tony Ward, Ollie Campbell, Mick Galwey, Ciaran Fitzgerald and many more. Auctioneer on the night will be Fergus Slattery, while the quiz master will be none other than Popey’s sparring partner George Hook.
