Preview Programmes Continue On TV3

The second of TV3’s five Rugby World Cup preview programmes will air tonight at 8pm. Entitled ‘Road to the Rugby World Cup’, this programme details the qualification process for the 2007 tournament for teams from all over the globe.

The best of the action from the qualifying regions will be shown. For example, there is a look at the qualification process in Europe – right from the first match in Andorra back in 2004 through to Italy’s qualifiers in October of last year.

Featuring games from each continent, there will be quality rugby in the most unlikely of locations and good background information on the teams that qualified for France 2007 – from Italy and Canada to the likes of Namibia and Georgia, who will face Ireland in Pool D next month.

TV3’s schedule of special RWC preview programmes will continue into next month before the tournament begins on September 7.

TV3’S RWC PREVIEW PROGRAMMES:
