Flannery And Murphy Draw Crowds At Powerade Signing

Before boarding flight EI 254 to Edinburgh earlier today, Ireland’s Jerry Flannery and Geordan Murphy took time out to meet and greet fans and sign hundreds of mini rugby balls, shirts and other goodies as part of the launch of a limited edition Rugby World Cup version of the Powerade sports drink.

Holidaymakers faced a scrum at Dublin Airport this morning as Jerry Flannery and Geordan Murphy stopped by the Powerade stand en route to their flight out to Edinburgh for tomorrow’s World Cup warm-up match against Scotland.

The pair were on hand to sign hundreds of mini rugby balls, shirts and other goodies as part of the launch of Powerade’s RWC drink. Their Ireland team-mate Paul O’Connell features on the bottle of the Kiwi and Watermelon version of Powerade, the first green variety to go on sale in Ireland.
