Tag Rugby Festival to be hosted at Bruff RFC

The summer of Tag just keeps on rollin’ as Co.Limerick’s very own Bruff RFC in association with the Irish Rugby Football Union host the Bull ‘N’ Booze Tag Rugby Festival on June 23rd 2007

Following on from the success of last years festival, Bruff RFC in Co.Limerick are making this event even bigger and better, with more teams, more pitches, IRFU tag referees and lots more live entertainment!!!!! This years event is run in conjunction with the IRFU.

Team entry fee is just €150!!!


There will be Social Mixed Leagues A, B & C as well as Beginner league and Men’s Veterans (over 35’s)


Approved tag shorts are compulsory for this event.


SCHEDULE OF EVENT (Provisional)


Friday Night 22nd June


The weekend will kick off on Friday night in Bruff town with a welcome party in one of the local pubs (details to follow)


Saturday 23rd June


Full day at Bruff RFC Kilballyowen Park


11:30 Shuttle Bus Pick Up


12:00 Captains Briefing


1pm – 7pm Tag Rugby Matches (each team guaranteed 4 games)


6pm – 8pm Live Band on the Pitch


8pm Prize Giving by Special Guest


8:30 – 11pm Live Band 2 on the Pitch


11pm till late Celebration party and D.J till late…


Shuttle buses return to city at 9pm, 11pm, 1pm, 2pm


All day barbeque, full bar facilities (all drink brands)


On site camping facilities, B& B in town.
