Referees Keeping A ‘Keane’ Eye!

Two referees will be keeping a ‘Keane’ eye on people during the Irish Guide Dogs’ annual Shades fundraising campaign.

David Keane and Alan Lewis were on hand on Wednesday to give their support to the annual Shades fundraising campaign for the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind.

The charity, which is ‘keanely’ supported by soccer legend Roy Keane, is running the annual fundraising campaign from May 1-5. It is being supported by Specsavers Opticians.

Shades Pins are available from Specsavers stores nationwide or you can text SHADES to 57202 (Texts cost 2 Euro).

Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind is a unique organisation in Ireland, providing mobility training through the use of a Guide Dog, Assistance Dog and Long Cane for adults and children from four years of age.

The services, which are provided free of charge, bring mobility and independence to people’s lives from all over Ireland.
