Boss Signs To 2010

Ulster Rugby today confirmed that Irish scrum half Isaac Boss has signed a three contract to keep him at the province until 2010.

Boss who is originally from New Zealand signed for Ulster at the beginning of the 2005-06 season after playing his club rugby for both Waikato (NPC) and the Wellington Hurricanes (Super 14). Isaac who is eligible to play for Ireland through his maternal Grandmother who is from Co Antrim has won 7 caps for Ireland in the last year and is set to be an important member of the Irish squad of the future.

Isaac was delighted to sign his contract today saying “I am really happy to have re-signed for Ulster and delighted to have a job for the next three years! It is good to get the contract signed and out of the way as it can be a nervous time, so now I can focus on my rugby and I am really looking forward to the next three seasons. I am enjoying my time in Belfast and playing my rugby for Ulster.”

Mark McCall said this of Isaac “We are delighted to secure Isaac for another three years, he has made a huge impact on the squad and is a very valuable member of our squad moving forward. Isaac is a great character to have around the training pitch and a quality rugby player on the pitch”
