The BBC are the official broadcaster for the IRB Under 19 World Championship that kicks off in Belfast this week.

BBC will offer comprehensive coverage of the IRB Under 19 World Championship that kicks off in Belfast this week.


Games will be covered on BBC 2 Northern Ireland and on digital TV in the UK as well as live streams on the BBC Sport Website.


The tournament starts on Thursday with New Zealand facing Wales at Ravenhill.

That match is followed by Ireland’s opening match against the defending champions Australia.

Overall, the live games include three rounds in Pool A, featuring Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales.

Both semi-finals will also be shown, along with the third-place play-off and the final on Saturday, 21 April.

9 April: France v South Africa (1730, only available via red button); Ireland v Scotland (1930)

13 April: England v New Zealand (1730); Ireland v South Africa (1930)

17 April: semi-finals

21 April: third-place play-off; final
