O2 Bungee Rugby Touches Down At The Docklands

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s O2 Bungee Rugby! And it is live at George’s Dock in Dublin today and Saturday.

O2 Ireland made rugby history on Thursday by hosting the first ever Ireland v England rugby match played 20 metres above the ground.

The aerial clash was the first Bungee Rugby game ever staged in Ireland or the UK and saw 12 acrobatic rugby players and cheerleaders go through their paces while harnessed to a specially-designed abseiling wiring rig.

So, no tickets for Ireland v England at Croke Park? Why not go one better and come watch Ireland v England in the air – the hits will be bigger, the tackles will be higher and a win for Ireland in Bungee Rugby should be the start of an amazing weekend!

This gravity-defying rugby match will take place above the water of George’s Dock in the Docklands at the following times –

Friday, February 23 – 12 noon, 12.45pm and 1.30pm

Saturday, February 24 – 1pm

Viewing is from the CHQ side of George’s Dock, and shows are free of charge, with other entertainment and giveaways on the day.
