Muldoon Claims Connacht Player Of The Month Award

Tough-tackling flanker John Muldoon has been named as the Aer Arann Connacht Rugby Player of the month for December.

The 24-year-old from Ballinasloe, who started all of Connacht’s matches in December – against Munster twice, Montpellier twice and Ulster – has worked his way into the Connacht side from the underage ranks.

He has been capped for Ireland at Youths, Under-19, Under-21 and ‘A’ level. The Galway man made his debut for the Irish ‘A’ side at last summer’s Churchill Cup.

Tom Byrne, Captain for Aer Arann in Galway, was on hand to present Muldoon with his December award – two return flights to a destination of his choice.
