O’Connell Launches Guinness Fantasy Rugby

Munster and Ireland lock Paul O’Connell was on hand on Monday to help launch Guinness’ new campaign in support of Ireland’s Six Nations bid.

Paul O’Connell selected his team for the Guinness Fantasy Rugby competition which runs on http://www.guinnessfantasyrugby.com/. The Munster and Ireland lock helped launch Guinness’ new campaign in support of Ireland’s bid for glory in the upcoming RBS 6 Nations championship.

Entitled ‘Surge of Pride’, the new campaign reflects the passion and pride of Irish rugby, incorporating television, outdoor, in pub visibility and digital media. Rugby fans can join Paul on the Guinness Fantasy Rugby website, which went live today, to select their own fantasy team.

The overall winner will receive a trip to see Ireland’s World Cup warm-up game against Scotland at Murrayfield on August 11, along with three friends. The trip includes flights, four-star accommodation and four match tickets.
