…Steve Anderson…

It is with regret that the Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU) wish to announce that High Performance Manager Steve Anderson and his family are returning to Australia.

Anderson and his family are flying home at the end of this month to deal with some urgent family medical issues in Australia.

Commenting on Anderson’s departure, IRFU Director of Rugby Eddie Wigglesworth said: “Steve’s contribution to the development of the IRFU PwC High Performance System has been immense and it has made huge progress over the last year. We will miss greatly his contribution at this important time in the evolution of the programme.”

The IRFU wishes Steve, his family and his parents all the very best for the future. The Union will now begin a recruitment process for the position of High Performance Manager, with the successful candidate taking over the management of the PwC High Performance System.
