AIB League Division One club Cork Constitution have announced a three-year sponsorship deal with Smart Telecom.

The telecommunications service provider will replace O’Leary Insurance as Con’s main sponsors.

The substantial deal involves the placement of the Smart Telecom logo on the first team jerseys and kit bags, as well as on official club merchandise.

The Leeside club has an excellent track record and most recently won the inaugural AIB Cup, beating St. Mary’s College in the April final. Many of Con’s players have been capped by both Munster and Ireland, including current stars Ronan O’Gara, Frankie Sheahan, Denis Leamy and Donncha O’Callaghan.

Rhona Bradshaw, Marketing Manager with Smart Telecom, is looking forward to building a successful and mutually beneficial partnership with everyone at Cork Constitution.

She said: “Cork Constitution are well established as a successful club in the AIB All-Ireland League and we are delighted to be involved with the club at such a significant level. The club is determined, self-motivated, dynamic and energetic, making it a perfect fit for the Smart Telecom brand.

“Our team at Smart Telecom have no doubt that Cork Constitution will go from strength to strength in the coming season and we look forward to supporting them all the way.”
