Leinster Rugby were delighted to support recently the presentation of jerseys to the Under -13 Rugby Team in St Catherine’s Sports Centre, Marrowbone Lane, Dublin8.
The Community Sports Centre based in the City Centre introduced a Rugby Programme to the local Community in October 2005 and interest in Rugby has been growing ever since.
Sharon Kelly Sports Development Officer for the centre assisted by Coach Graham Jones and others introduced Rugby to the local Community in a part of the inner City not normally associated with Rugby and Leinster Rugby are delighted to support this initiative as part of our ongoing commitment to support Rugby in the Community as well as in Clubs and Schools.
Leinster Rugby would also like to congratulate Dublin City Council in providing this Community Sports Centre which is part of their dedicated Community Programme which will also see a number of other similar Centres developed throughout Dublin City.
