The Irish Rugby Supporters Club held an exclusive Triple Crown eveving in Lansdowne Road last week. Members and their guests were given an exclusive opportunity to see the Triple Crown Trophy and to hear the insights of Eddie O’Sullivan and Ollie Campbell.

Eddie gave the audience an inside look at some of the key moments in each of the games from this years RBS 6 Nations and pinpointed moves, tries and tackles that helped Ireland to build to a Triple Crown triumph against England. Eddie showed video footage of some of the moments that stood out for him and talked about why a particular move or score was important.

The Supporters Club was also delighted to launch the Triple Crown 2006 DVD, featureing highlights from the RBS 6 Nations and a bonus DVD of the entire England V Ireland game. The DVD is now on release.
Eddie and Ollie answered questions from the audience and talked about some of the key players for other teams as well as their memories of the season and what it means to win a Triple Crown.

The Supporters Club was also offering a grand prize of a signed Ireland Jersey, The Triple Crown DVD, a Triple Crown Tie and the brand new Supporters Club Cap. The draw took place at the end of the evening and the lucky winner was also one of the newest members of the club.
