Ireland Under-18 Club Side Named

Ahead of their trip to the FIRA Under-18 European Championships next month, the Ireland U-18 Club side will play a warm-up match against Scotland in Greystones this Sunday.

Ahead of their trip to the FIRA Under-18 European Championship next month, the Ireland U-18 Club side will play a warm-up match against Scotland in Greystones this Sunday.

The Ireland U-18 Club team to play Scotland U-18 in a friendly match at Dr. Hickey Park, Greystones RFC on Sunday, April 2 (kick-off 10.45am) has been announced.

The Ireland U-18 Club squad will travel to Treviso next month to compete in the FIRA (Association of European Rugby) U18 European Championship. This is the first time that the IRFU are sending an U-18 Club squad to this competition. Ireland will be seeded fifth of 32 teams for the tournament in Treviso. There will be four groups of eight teams each – Ireland are in Group A – a group that includes Russia, Georgia, Italy, Portugal, England, France and Scotland.

4. Tom Burns – Campion School/Exiles

7. Kevin Bracken – Tullamore
8. Bryan McKeever – Navan
