Ireland back row David Wallace, a member of last weekend’s Triple Crown winning side, is one of four players to renew their contracts with Munster.

The Munster team management confirmed on Friday that they had concluded contract re-negotiations with Wallace, scrum half-cum-winger Tomas O’Leary, centre Bary Murphy and winger ian Dowling, without confirming the terms of their new deals.

Meanwhile, Shannon’s monster prop Tony Buckley has also agreed terms with Munster. The 6ft 5in, 21 stone front rower initially joined the province from Connacht at the start of the season, and in his four appearances to date (two in the Celtic League), he has obviously done enough to impress coach Declan Kidney.
