Irishrugby.ie users backed both Leinster and Munster to win over the weekend and qualify for the Heineken Cup quarter-finals, and the two provinces duly obliged.

We asked you in our latest poll: “Will there be Irish representation in the Heineken Cup quarter-finals?”

We received 1839 votes with the first option – Yes, both Leinster and Munster will qualify – coming out on top. 908 of you backed the provincial pair to succeed, resulting in a 49.4% majority.

The “Yes, just Munster” option was next up, scoring 40.3% (742 votes). “Yes, just Leinster” was third with 5.7% (104), with the “No” option last (4.6% (85)).
