Buccaneers full-back Tom Cregan is the AIB Cup’s current top scorer. The former Shannon points machine has had the benefit of playing an extra game in the inaugural competition’s Preliminary Round (28-16 v Ballymena).

Cregan, who bagged a hat-trick of tries and five conversions against DLSP on December 17, is also currently top of the scoring charts in AIB League Division One with 79 points from six appearances.

The open draw for the AIB Cup Quarter-finals (which take place on Saturday, February 11) will take placed on Thursday, January 12, and include the eight First Round winners – Belfast Harlequins, Buccaneers, Clontarf, Cork Constitution, Galwegians, Garryowen, St Mary’s College and Terenure College.
